I just watched Session 4 with Kirsty and Annabel. I so enjoyed it and found it very informative. About 6 months ago I started yoga. Initially, I did not find it easy and wondered if this was really for me, and then I began to notice how yoga practice was also informing me and assisting me to get in touch with all aspects of my being. I am taking it seriously now.
I am looking forward to incorporating what you have shared.
Thank you, Annabel and Kirsty . . . . 🙂adminKeymaster03/01/2020 at 5:39 amPost count: 9
We’re glad you enjoyed the session, Rhonda. I’m sure you’ll enjoy the practical videos when they’re uploaded. You’re such a positive example of what can change when you’re willing to try new things. Hugs <3maurterParticipant03/01/2020 at 6:01 amPost count: 5
Yes loved the discussion also. Definitely looking forward to doing the practices. Love the idea that benefit can be achieved through tuning into someone else’s practice! I was thinking when Kirsty mentioned Salute to the sun I thought well I can’t do that with my body. But thinking further about it that is based on my own judgement of how I need to do it and how it looks- goes back to success/ failure. So I get it’s just about working with where I’m at, physically, emotionally and spiritually at any time and allowing myself to be!MegParticipant03/01/2020 at 9:46 pmPost count: 1
Watching the video with Annabel just now. It has confirmed some of the things I have done and how I felt. I’ve always resonated with cobra and then back into child pose. Yet I’ve often thought that I wasn’t doing all the movements and that somehow I was being lazy, I now feel that my inner self knew what worked for me. 🙂 And some days its the cat and then the cow poses (i think thats what they are) that I want to do. Trust in listening to my body. I’m also looking forward to the practices.adminKeymaster11/01/2020 at 2:17 pmPost count: 9
Love that feedback from you, Maureen and Meg. Our bodies know, for sure. When we are present, whether it’s with ourselves or with others we will receive the energy that is given.
One thing I’ve learned is first to listen and secondly to allow my mind to challenge my body just a little further. When I think I can’t go further / longer I’ll do just another second / another couple of breaths. This helps me address my core wound of “I’m not enough” and “I don’t have what it takes”, because I constantly prove to myself that I can :-).
